Story Card Edit
To celebrate their twentieth anniversary, 20th Century Fox decided to pull out all the stops and have a party to end all parties. All Hollywood was invited to attend this festive ball—and each celebrity was encouraged to wear a costume from any of 20th Century Fox’s many successful films to the gala event.
Knowing that all their stars would be eager to attend, Monolithic arranged to borrow some prints of some of 20th Century Fox’s biggest hits. There, in a private screening room on the Monolithic lot, Monolithic’s best and brightest huddled in the darkness, costume department personnel close at hand, eyes glued to the screen, eager to see which of the many beautiful costumes would suit them best.
The first to choose was Trent Osborn. Ever since he was a youth, his dream had been to wander the globe. So when aristocrat Major Rama Safti sits at a game of cards during the Maharaja’s reception for Lord Albert and Lady Edwina Esketh, resplendent in his traditional Indian garb in The Rains Came, Trent smiled. The intricately patterned tunic, the exotic turban...
“Ahhh, the mystery of the East,” cried Trent. “And I don’t mean Philly! And I’ll bet he’s got an ace or two up his turban. Go no further.”
And then he bolted from the screening room to meet his date.
